Exchange of Letters

Dear Major Alexei Kazansky,

This is to inform you that a garrison of your unit, the 1st Chemical Warfare Battalion in Volgograd has been surrounded by elements of the Imperial 9th Chemical Warfare Battalion, under my command. Surrender to my terms or face annihilation.

1. Any unarmed Imperial units designated to collect the dead from the battlefield are to be unmolested.
2. Full quarter is to be given to enlisted men and officers who seek parlay.
3. No more exploding animals are to be sent into Imperial camps.
4. Places of worship are to be left unharmed.

I believe that these terms are reasonable. In the event of your surrender, rest assured that your men will be treated humanely and will be repatriated to the Sovereign Republic of Krasnorussia (if the entity still exists) when the war has ended.
